Society of Haters..appreciate someones perfection.

We are such haters in this modern culture. Our culture is waiting to see failure, doom and destruction at any given moment, we even help it along if there is little cost to us, just read Youtube.com comments. As Cee-lo sang, “Ain’t that some Shit.”

It seems few in todays society few of us can truly appreciate genius and moments of perfection in other individuals, we down play spectacular moments portrayed by others, when we wish we could bask in their glory. This is most likely the reason for Reality TV’s popularity. We can judge/haterate without personal stake or cost. We, in particular most americans are in constant love/hate competitive relationships with the world at large. I see it in families, marriages and even my own life. I am no saint but there is one thing people who know me can say, as much as I am an attention whore, I love to see other people shine. It makes my heart smile when someone is exceptional. Exceptional people make me question my ability and test myself to see if I can elevate my being.

Each person present in the time space continuum has a range of specific and unique talents, yet we seek notoriety for talents of mass public attention. When we should really be working to be our own worst judge. Life is not high school, and there is no real “Cool Kids table” for adults, but that is our reptilian brain comfort zone. Our human status is always seeking the approval outside of our physical bodies. To a degree I can understand that view if it is regarded as a “personal second opinion”, but typically its not the case. Lets all work on the ability to appreciate those people with the ability to exploit their own unique talent for the betterment of themselves and others, in other words. Be thankful for the talent of others to inspire your soul.

Just think about how many people were inspired by the talent of Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, BIll Gates and a host of others.

Be appreciators not haters.

Detroit RIP 2009 unless the cancer is removed!

Now What?

Now What?

At what point does a person just give up a say, ”I am not the most qualified person for this task.”  That is is what Detroit’s city council should be saying.

I had a job where I assumed a position that was not the right fit for me. Since it was not a good fit, I had to abdicate the position, of my own free will.  That sucked because it paid extremely well, but we survive.

I remember the Shreik name calling incident during a city council meeting several months ago.  That was the defining moment where I really began to take notice of what was happening.  The only thing that came to mind was “SOCIALLY RETARDED” adults in charge, with inflated egos running rampant.

What happened to the standard high moral and integrity that once prevailed in this country?

It is time to clean house, to help restore the city of Detroit become a healthy state again.

HELP THOSE IN NEED!
